Jigsaw Puzzle : Part I
.. whatis it ? It is defined as "A puzzle consisting of a mass of irregularly
shaped pieces of cardboard, plastic, or wood that form a picture when
fitted together". Why is it defined as a "puzzle"? Is it because of the
mass of irregularly shaped pieces? or because it is not fitted
together? Its up to you to decide actually
Have
you ever manage to finish a jigsaw puzzle before? well i dont know bout
u but i did , 250 pieces which took me 3 days … ok ok its 72 hrs i
know … but i was just 7 by then or 6 ?.. i forgot myself .. There are
a lot of criteria u need to complete a jigsaw puzzle, regardless of how
simple it may be … One with without such criteria took longer than
the others that do, obviously ..
Mixture
It
has come to my mind sometimes ago that a Jigsaw Puzzle .. can actually
represent a lot of things around us .. One of which is, our LIFE.
What makes me say so or thought so u might ask .. well u see, a Jigsaw
Puzzle has many pieces to be fitted together to form a picture. As we
are in our life, we need a lot of ppl to fit with us to form our
life,or i would say a CIRCLE OF LIFE.
And you know that each Jigsaw Puzzle is of irregular shape .. which
implies to our life as well, each people that fit with us around are DIFFERENT.
They have different look, personality, thoughts, style of living, path
of life and so on … each distinguish them from others. We need
"Irregularly Shaped puzzles" making a "Shaped Picture": "Different
People" making our life "Shaped". As for what kind of people? let see
.. family .. friends .. buddies .. colleagues .. football fan club
fancies .. shopping craze gang .. all sort that u can think of .. And I
am sure that at least one of those is with us, in our Jigsaw Puzzle
Life …
Unique
As
mentioned .. each Jigsaw Puzzle is irregularly shaped .. however ,
there is always possibility that one or few that might look similar, or
exactly the same shape. Same as those people around us, some may look
alike, behave alike,think alike, speak alike, sing alike … but
remember, however pieces of Jigsaw Puzzle might be similar they each
has their own location to be placed at. Which implies to us however
those around us might be a clone of others … each of them is
significantly different from those alike them and hence played a
different role in our life. That is why in life, u do not compare
people with people .. WHY , u ask me ? Then let me answer you with this
:"Do you compare Jigsaw Puzzles within each pieces of them?" You don’t.
Because every pieces is significantly different and must be placed in
order to complete the PUZZLE!
